Therapy For Schools
I provide counselling support for children and young people within schools, offering a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore emotions, develop understanding, and build resilience. Sessions can be individual or in small groups, using creative approaches such as play, art, puppetry, sand tray, and storytelling to help children and teenagers express themselves in ways that feel comfortable.

Primary Schools
For primary-aged children, counselling can support children to manage anxiety, friendship challenges, transitions, or everyday stresses. Creative methods help children communicate feelings they may not yet have the words for, fostering emotional awareness and confidence from an early age.

Secondary Schools
For secondary students, counselling supports young people through a stage of significant emotional, social, and academic change. Adolescence can bring exam stress, identity questions, peer pressures, and life transitions. Counselling in secondary schools has been shown to reduce psychological distress and improve emotional wellbeing (DfE, 2016). Therapy provides a space to explore these challenges, build resilience, and develop self-understanding, all at a pace that feels right for the young person.

My approach is predominantly person-centred, but with my Integrative Counselling qualification, I can adapt and integrate other therapeutic methods to meet the individual needs of each child or young person.
