About

Hi, I’m Michele — a BACP Registered Counsellor with a HE, Dip, in Counselling Children and Young People and additional training in Integrative Counselling for Adults. I regularly complete continuing professional development (CPD) to ensure the highest professional standards.
I provide counselling and therapy for children (5+), teenagers, adults, and parent–child relationships, supporting a wide range of emotional challenges.
My Experience
Since 2011, I have supported children and young people in schools, helping with anxiety, depression, separation, bereavement, and friendship difficulties. For the past five years, I have run my private practice in conjunction with my business partner, offering counselling in a calm, welcoming space. I also have experience supporting adults, employees via Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP), and young people in accommodation.I have been providing a service to schools for the past 5 years.
My Approach
Trained in both Person-Centred Counselling for Children and Young People and Integrative Counselling for Adults, I work holistically across life stages. I help adults explore their histories, navigate transitions, and gain self-understanding. With children and teenagers, I provide a safe environment to build resilience and work through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and grief...
Parent Support
I also offer parent support sessions — not therapy, but practical guidance, reassurance, and strategies to help parents support children facing emotional challenges. These sessions provide a safe space to explore concerns and strengthen family relationships.
Where I Work
I have been running my private practice with my business partner for five years at Castle Counselling Service in Earls Colne, Essex. I also provide online counselling across Essex, Suffolk, and the UK, giving clients flexibility to access support from home.
